Our New Movie Information is updated every Tuesday for the upcoming movies.
How do you hear the movies?
For the FRONT Screen turn your car stereo or portable radio to 98.9 FM.
For the BACK Screen tune to FM 98.1, for some of the best movie sound ever!
(Turn your car key backwards, to the accessory position and tune in.)
Do you give group discounts?
Our prices are kept as low as possible for a double feature so we do not give discounts.
Do you accept credit cards?
No, we only accept cash, although we do have an ATM Machine located in the Snack Shop for your convenience.
Can we switch movie screens?
No. Your Ticket is good only for the Double Feature you purchased it for. You cannot jump screens. If you buy a Ticket for the Front Screen you must stay on the Front Screen. You cannot jump over to the Back Screen. Please remember, Movies are the product we sell and your ticket is good only for the Movies you purchased. If you'd like to watch another movie on a different screen, please visit the box office and purchase a separate ticket for that program. Occasionally with extremely long feature movies, we are not able to play a 2nd feature and your ticket only buys you admission to that single extra long feature film.
How can we find out about Special Events at the Showboat?
Simply click on the “Events” Button below, for an up-to-date list of events.
I have a large 4x4 can I come to the drive in?
Certainly, we just ask that you please park in the back two rows so not to block the view of other other movie goers. You’ll still have a great view, and will be closer to the Snack Shop and restrooms too!
When do the movies change?
The movies change on Fridays. Some movies are held over for more than a week. You can always check our website to see what’s playing and what’s coming soon.
Is the admission for one or two movies?
Our one low price is good for both movies playing on one screen!
Do you have any Showboat souvenirs?
Yes. Simply click on the “Gift Shop” Button below to checkout all of our items. We have a little something for everyone, and new designs being added just about every month!
Can we leave after the first movie or do we have to stay for both?
You can leave after the first movie, stay for both or even come at intermission for just the second feature. Re-Entry is not allowed.
Why do the gates open an hour or more before the movie starts?
To allow everyone time to get in, pick their parking space, go to the Snack Shop, and get settled in and ready for a fun evening!
Can we make reservations?
No I'm sorry we do not take reservations due to the parking situation. But we do encourage you to get here a little early to park with friends, as we can fill up fast!
Can we bring lawn chairs and sit outside our car?
Yes, but we ask that you keep them in front or close to your vehicle to leave room for other vehicles to park beside you.
What if my battery goes dead?
Just pop your hood and let someone inside the concessions stand know that you need a jump, we'll send someone right out. If you are concerned about this, a portable radio, or Boom Box will also work really nice for listening to the movies.
Can we bring our dog?
Yes, as long as you keep it in your vehicle and it does not bother other patrons. The Showboat Drive in is not responsible for any damage or injury to your dog, or any damage or injury that your dog may cause.
Can we drop our kids off at the Drive in and pick them up later?
No. Children may not be left unattended.
Are there any rules for the Playground?
Yes. Children on the playground must be supervised and play quietly during showtimes. So others may enjoy the movie. Play at your own risk. The Showboat Drive in is not responsible for any injuries or theft.
